Three Republican chairs of House committees have asked Nvidia chief executive Jensen Huang to come before Congress, according to The Hill.
The Hill reported that House Select Committee on China Chair John Moolenaar (R-Mich.), House Foreign Affairs Committee Chair Brian Mast (R-Fla.) and House Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence Chair Rick Crawford (R-Ark.) sent a letter to Huang. The letter followed reports that Huang had sent intelligence to China, the outlet said.
According to The Hill, the lawmakers asked Huang to appear at a joint, closed-door briefing. The portion of the report available for this account does not give the subject of that briefing or say when or where it would be held, so those details could not be confirmed.
The Hill's report was written by Mira Bhakta. The portion available did not say whether Huang had responded to the letter, and the reports of intelligence sharing with China were not described further in that account.
